Super Shorts is a blog where different series of short stories are posted about various characters. Each series is set in the same world and follows a strict continuity and timeline, creating a living, breathing universe. Feel free to comment and give ideas; with new material each week, there should be something for everyone!

The World After the Illumination
In 1979, the world was changed. A bright light engulfed the western half
of the world, altering the genetic structure of every human who came in
contact with the light. The Illumination changed much more than just
DNA, however. True, it created a new breed of humans with amazing
abilities that were once restricted to works of fiction. But it also
opened many doors, revealing both the good and evil mankind is capable
of producing. However 30 years after that fateful event, the world is at
relative peace. Humans and metahumans have learned to live with one
another, and emerging from this peace are the superheroes, licensed law enforcers of the Government Metahuman Agency. The GMA oversees
everything that deals with this new breed, employing many metas as
agents in the field. This is a world full of infinite possibilities.
What is "Super"?
"Super" is a series created to showcase many different characters. Each issue is focused on a new character and is a complete story on it's own. This allows the audience to get a feel for the character and helps determine whether or not that particular character will star in their own series!
