manifested at puberty, Tony did the only thing sensible to an emotional
teenager: he ran, far and fast. For a few years he lived on his own, going
wherever he wanted and doing whatever he desired. Finally, during a stop in
Hopling, he saw Frontier in action, and saw how much the public loved them. He
wanted that attention and fame, and for months tried to get in, doing anything
they required. Finally gaining membership, Tony now fights crimes and evil
alongside true heroes, whose good intentions are starting to wear off onto the
hot-headed youngster.
History: After quickly taking out one of
the three criminals running from the law, Tony mouths off to Marian before
racing back to the mansion. That night, he and Marian get drunk together and
have sex.
Tony is once again caught tormenting
Marian and ignores Franics’ good advice. When he goes to stop a normal bank
robbery, he is knocked unconscious by the super villain Volt. Despite an
injured leg, Tony tries to go fight Volt when he next appears, but finally
listens to Francis’ wisdom and stays at the mansion. However he goes to aid
Steve and Natalie when they send out a distress signal during their battle.
During the outbreak of Fang, Tony
showed a greater care in his superhero work and the other team members. He
tirelessly helped defeat the powered-up thugs, and when Natalie was critically
injured he showed much sympathy, even more than Marian. He also felt himself
torn between his feelings for Marian and being single. Tony and Marian teamed
up to take out Snake Eyes, and during the battle Tony had to defeat gang
members without his powers. He managed to break Snake Eyes’ control over
Marian, and the two defeated the gang leader.
After the Fang incident, Marian
questions Tony about his feelings for her. He hesitates despite wanting to be
with her and she leaves.
When Steve and Natalie leave for a
vacation, Tony is upset that Francis is put in charge. After easily
apprehending Sewage, Tony meets Matt, aka Echo. Tony brings both Matt and
Sewage back to the mansion, but after hearing Matt out they find Sewage has
escaped. The next day they find Sewage has taken over a waste disposal plant,
and Tony, Marian, and Matt go in alone to defeat him. Afterwards, Tony and
Marian stand behind their decision to trust Matt when Steve questions them.
While Steve is away in West City, a
giant robot attacks Hopling. Tony helps Natalie and Marian defeat the robot and
almost captures Snake Eyes before he gets away.
After the Metalock prison break,
Tony helps the GMA capture the escaped convicts. When the super villain group
attacks Hopling, Tony is right in the fray. Making a split second decision,
Tony stops Land Slide’s destructive reign by breaking his neck. In
retalitation, the Obliterator shoots Tony.
Tony survives the shooting, and
while in the hospital is visited by Cure who came to help heal his mind and
body.
After being healed by Cure, Steve
lets Tony go on leave to recover. Tony is hanging out on a deserted beach when
he’s approached by Eternal. In the ensuing conversation, Eternal offers Tony a
job as a GMA field agent, and leaves to let Tony think it over and decide.
Tony returns to Frontier, still
debating whether or not to accept Eternal’s offer. After seeing the depressing
state of the mansion and the team’s attitude, Tony calls to set up a meeting
with Eternal. Before that meeting, Tony encounters the metahuman serial killer
called Reaper and is nearly killed by her. Steve saves him, and while Tony is

First Appearance: Super #2
Current Status: Inactive member of Frontier
Bio: Matt is burdened with a heavy
past. His father, Burnout, was a metahuman hero in the aftermath of the
Illumination, and when Matt’s powers first manifested, he wanted nothing more
than to be a hero like his father. However a terrible incident occurred,
leaving Matt carrying a heavy regret on his shoulders, and convincing him he
wasn’t ready to be a hero. Now that years have passed and he has matured, not
to mention extensively trained with his powers, Matt is slowly coming into the
metahuman world, and showing the immense strength of someone who carries the
weight of the world on his shoulders.
History: Matt was watching the yearly
parade in Hopling when a small group starting attacking the bystanders. Against
his better judgment, Matt jumped into the fray and subdued the attackers before
flying off, avoiding the authorities due to him not being a licensed superhero.
A few months later, the college Matt
attends is endangered by an unstable metahuman. Once again going against his
better judgment, Matt flies in to save the campus. He comes against Arthur,
another metahuman who is trying to save the campus as well but in doing so
almost destroys it. Matt saves the day, and befriends Arthur.
After that, Matt is shown at his
college campus after it was attacked by a powerful metahuman, and Matt vows to
subdue this new threat.
Months later, Matt tracks Sewage to
Hopling, where he meets Tony after the superhero easily subdues Sewage. Matt
returns to the Frontier mansion with Tony, where he explains his history with
Sewage. Afterwards they find Sewage has escaped, and the next day Matt, Tony,
and Marian assault Sewage’s newly built fortress. Matt defeats Sewage easily,
despite Sewage’s immense power, due to Sewage’s lack of control over all his
new power. Matt leaves after saving Marian’s life.
After the Metalock prison break,
Matt approaches Frontier for help against Sombra. While fighting Land Slide,
Matt saves Natalie from a bullet. During the large battle, Matt fights and
defeats Sewage, followed by an energy-based fight against Sombra. He defeated
her, but Jasmine was lost in the process.
After the big battle for Hopling
city, Matt becomes a member of Frontier, despite still not being registered.
During this time, he searches every night for Jasmine’s energy signal, but
finds nothing. It is after one of these failed attempts that he and Marian
spend a night together, and from that point start to grow closer.
When two meta celebrities go missing,
Matt and Marian are sent to find them. They continue growing closer on the
trip, and Matt is even considering becoming licensed. However after finding out
the kidnapping was all a hoax and the celebrities recorded Matt and Marian’s
private time together on the plane, Matt is enraged and beats the celebrities
bloody. However Josh Matters forces Matt to quit Frontier or else he’d released
the sex tape to the public. On the flight home, Matt breaks things off with
Marian and quits Frontier.
When Alex calls Matt for help, he
goes to the Eagle and finds out the scientists there have captured some shadow
energy. Matt convinces them to release the shadow energy and he follows it to
find Sombra. When he does, the two have a cataclysmic fight, resulting in Sombra
tearing open a hole into a dimension filled with shadow energy. In order to
close that portal and save his world, Matt pushed Sombra into the portal and
absorbs enough shadow energy to close it.
However absorbing that much shadow
energy starting corrupting Matt, and when Frontier needed his help to find the
metahuman serial killer, Matt aided them, but was very cold and unattached.
After Frontier left, Matt returned to the mansion, very confused. Francis tried
talking to him, and Matt learned of the killer’s ability to absorb energy. Matt
left and confronted the killer, saving Frontier, the killer, and himself in the
process. Afterwards, Matt felt compelled to help the young woman, and offered
to become a licensed metahuman in order to train her. Eternal reluctantly
agreed, and Matt finally became a licensed superhero.
After training Laura for a month, Matt
introduced her to Arthur. Matt needed Arthur to watch Laura while he went away
on a covert mission, but the two refused to cooperate and Matt was forced to
bring them with. Down in the Caribbean they met up with Scanner, one of Matt’s
informants and secret partners. Her brother Arach had been missing after trying
to recover a video for Matt. The four of them went to an empty house to look
for clues and Matt left to search the jungle where he knew Josh Matters and Melissa
Molecule had an underground lair. There he fought Basher, found Arach, and made
it out and back to the hotel where the other three were waiting. After
returning home, Matt left the flash drive with the only copy of the sex tape on
it with Marian, writing a note saying he hoped this is a start to mend things.

Shadow Energy with Dr. Muahitl, Alex is worried about his secret on how the
Eagle flies. A few days later, the Eagle is attacked by a group of villains led
by Volt. While Alex is dealing with Augmento, Volt and Mind Queen discover the
truth of how the Eagle flies, and torment Alex with the hope that his wife,
Valerie, is still able to be saved. The Volt and Mind Queen escape, leaving Alex
to question what he’s been doing.
After worrying about his wife for
weeks, Alex consulted John, who helped talk him through it. When the scientists
called about the shadow energy, Alex called Matt for his opinion, and agreed to
let the shadow energy go so Matt could handle it.
When the Eagle fell, Alex checked
out Valerie but didn’t find anything unusual. As he tried to lie to the
scientists, he had to resort to deflection and rushing out. Later when the
Eagle truly started falling, Alex and John rushed to the main generator room
and found Damien had discovered his mother and done something. Alex restored
Valerie’s powers just in time, and after meeting with the press rushed to the
research lab to discover Abyss. After a short fight, Abyss fled, and Alex
chased him after being told by another scientist that they had finally built
working anti-gravity engines. It took Damien’s newfound powers to defeat Abyss,
despite strong effects from Alex and John.
The next morning, Alex found Valerie
sitting in his office. He broke down, and spent the next few hours explaining everything
to her. Both were just happy to be alive and well, and reconciled after being
apart for ten years.

While Tony is recovering on leave,
Ken pays him a visit and during the conversation offers Tony a job as a GMA
field agent. Ken leaves Tony to decide if he wants it or not.
After Frontier apprehended the
metahuman serial killer, Ken met with Steve and Matt to discuss Matt’s
proposal. At first, Ken was completely against letting Matt take the young

wound Steve, Tony comes to the rescue, followed by Marian and Alexander.
After the initial vial of Fang is

the GMA headquarters in Hopling to talk to Dr. Lopnol about finding a cure.
After a brief talk, Steve is informed of the location for the main drug dealer.

regulations the military had at the time, Francis turned to the next best
thing: being a superhero. However despite his modified technological air suit
which granted him some offensive capabilities while soaring through the skies,
the GMA would not grant him a license. That changed when he was accepted to
join the first line-up of Frontier. Yet after a few missions, Francis found the

durability to the degree of roughly three to four times that of a normal human
Abilities: Skilled melee fighter and trained
in piloting aircraft and other modes of transportation
Age (at First Appearance): 20
Height: 5’10”
Description: Dark shoulder-length curly
hair, tanned skin, athletic build
First Appearance: Super #8
Current Status: Active member of Frontier
Bio: Born to Steve and his first
wife Abigail, Marian was a reckless young girl who exhibited her powers at a
young age. After her mother’s death when she was only nine years old, Marian
became withdrawn and sullen, only perking up when her father was around. Steve
began training her to fight in her early teen years, and at the age of eighteen
Marian joined the ranks of Frontier as Marathon.
History: Marian doesn’t help subdue any
of the criminals the first time she’s seen, and Tony is quick to make fun of
her powers. That night, after helping her father and stepmother with the boring
police reports, she gets drunk with Tony and they have sex. Afterwards she sarcastically
muses that her life is the epitome of superhero lifestyles.
After her father calms her down from
her bout of rage against Tony, Marian goes out to see what’s taking Tony so
long with a seemingly normal bank robbery. There she sees Volt has already
defeated Tony and after a brief battle is knocked out as well. When she returns
home, she asks Steve if she can try to persuade Alexander to help them with
Volt. She meets Alexander on the Eagle and the two take a tour. Despite her
pleading, it wasn’t until Marian received a distress signal that Alexander
agreed to help. After teleporting to the battle with Alexander, she helps her
family wrap up the day.
During a routine patrol, Marian
helps Natalie take down some seemingly metahuman thugs. When it turns out they
are normal humans that have been enhanced by a drug called Fang, Frontier goes
into overdrive trying to keep the streets clean. During this time, Marian
realizes she doesn’t feel the same way towards Tony anymore. When Natalie is
critically wounded, Marian doesn’t show much sorrow, and instead she just wants
revenge to make her father happy. Marian and Tony go take on the leader, and
after a tough battle they defeat Snake Eyes. He escapes, however the two are
happy they saved the day on their own.
After the Fang incident, Marian
confronts Tony about his feelings for her. When he hesitates, she leaves for
the Eagle. Once there she asks Alex to train her for a while and he agrees.
While Steve and Natalie are on
vacation, Tony brings the metahuman Echo back to the mansion, along with an
unconscious villain. After learning of Matt’s history with Sewage and finding
out Sewage escaped, the three search the city for him. After finding Sewage’s
new fortress, Marian helps with the attack, but nearly succumbs to Sewage’s
micro-organisms. Matt saves her life, and later she defends her and Tony’s
actions to Steve.

business, Marian enjoys an afternoon with Natalie, only to be interrupted by a
giant robot. After Tony helps them the robot is destroyed, and Snake Eyes is
almost captured, but he escapes once more.
Marian stays with Steve to defend
Hopling during the Metalock prison break. During the big battle against the
super villains, she was supposed to help protect the perimeter but ends up
fighting Sentinel. Before Sentinel can kill her, Alex saves her life.
After the battle for Hopling city,
Marian pitches in with the clean up. During this time, she and Matt find solace
in one another and grow closer.
When two meta celebrities go
missing, Marian and Matt are sent in to find them. During the flight there, the
two heroes enjoy their private time together. After finding the beach house
full of soldiers and defeating Basher, they discover this was all an elaborate
plan to record how Frontier operates and put it on the celebrities’ TV show.
Furious, Matt beats the celebrities, but it is revealed they have the tape of
Matt and Marian’s risqué trip there. Matt talks to Josh too quietly for Marian
to hear, but on the flight home Matt breaks things off with her and quits
Frontier.
While hurting from the break up,
Marian helps patrol for the serial killer. Once Steve returns home, the two
have a heart-to-heart. When Frontier storms the secret lab, Marian is almost
killed by the Reaper but is saved by Matt. Afterwards when Matt says he’ll
become licensed to help the young woman, Marian is jealous that he did not do that
for her.
A month later, Marian returned home
one evening to find a note and a flash drive in her room. She realized they are
from Matt, and the metahuman celebrities no longer have any hold over them.

Sombra was not in a coma, and was released by the Obliterator and his fellow

force of nature that wanted to kill Matt. Richard took advantage of the darker
persona and subdued Jasmine, allowing Sombra to emerge. After being summoned by
Richard, Sombra fought Matt, but his absorption powers proved too powerful for
her. Afterwards, Jasmine and Matt had a very brief exchange before Jasmine
dissolved into shadow energy.
Some time later, Matt tracks Sombra
down and the two battle. During the fight, it is revealed Sombra doesn’t create

career not being a licensed superhero at all. She was a bystander that happened

team leader Steve. She was interviewed and offered a spot on the team, which
she took because she knew she would be able to do a great deal of good for the
world on the team, and also because she was smitten with Steve. Over the next
three years, Steve and she grew close, and eventually married, cementing her
spot as second in command for Frontier.
History: After helping to subdue some
runaway criminals, Natalie does the standard police reports and interviews with
her husband and fellow team member Steve.
Natalie is seen doing paperwork with
Steve. She is there for him when he is angry with himself for letting Marian go
out on her own and getting hurt. When Volt next appears, she accompanies Steve
to make sure he doesn’t go too far in his fight with the super villain. Both
she and Steve are defeated by Volt, and Natalie sends out a distress signal.
The signal is answered by Tony, Marian, and Alexander, and Volt is finally
beaten.
During a routine patrol, Natalie
encounters a gang fight that seems to contain metahuman criminals. She takes
out the thugs with Marian’s help, and then finds a vial containing an
enhancement drug called Fang. The next few days are crazy for Frontier as they
try to contain the spread of the drug. After she gets a call from Steve about
the main drug warehouse, she is forced to enter it before Steve arrives. During
the battle, she is critically injured by the gang leader and is in the hospital
recovering for the next week.
When it is apparent she isn’t recovering
well, Steve calls in a metahuman named Cure to heal Natalie. After she is
healed, Natalie is happy to be going home with her family.
Nearly two months go by, and Natalie
and Steve leave for a vacation in Claria. While there, they receive a call from
Francis about Sewage. They rush home, but Sewage is defeated by the time they
get there. Natalie lets Steve scold Tony and Marian, but is impressed when the
younger heroes stand behind their decisions.
While Steve is in West City for
business, Natalie and Marian have a nice afternoon in Hopling, only to be
interrupted by a giant robot attack. With the help of Tony, they subdue the
robot and nearly catch Snake Eyes. Natalie is shaken by the close encounter
with Snake Eyes, but Marian assures her they will get him one day.
During the Metalock prison break,
Natalie helps the GMA catch the escaped criminals. When Land Slide attacks,
Natalie is saved by Matt from the Obliterator’s bullet. When the super villains
attacked the city, Natalie fought Land Slide and helped Steve defeat, but not
kill, the Obliterator. While Matt was fighting Sombra, she kept the team safe
from the shadows with a force field.
After the battle against the super
villains was won, Natalie put herself in the center of attention to help rebuild
not only the city, but also the public opinion of Frontier.
When two meta celebrities go
missing, Natalie sends Marian and Matt to find them while she stays to protect
the town and look into a recent string of killings done by a potential metahuman.
While out during patrol looking for
the serial killer, Natalie runs into a girl nearby one of the killings. A crowd
forms around Natalie, and she flies to a rooftop. There a homeless person tells
her what happened, and Natalie learns the girl she ran into was the killer.

Matt’s help and he finds her location. Frontier storms the secret lab and are
